[Resolved] [Resolved] preventing script execution stopping when client browser closes

Hi,

I remember reading in the php manual somewhere that there is a way of maintaining script execution after a browser has closed.

I know I could do this with a cron job, but for now at least I would rather have a php page fire off execution and continue until finished (or time out) despite the browser window being closed.

I'm guessing it's in php.ini somewhere, but cant remember where - can anyone help?

ok got it finally - it's [man]ignore_user_abort[/man] for those needing this also...
