How do I move info from one table to another with a link?

Is there a way that I can move an email address from one Mysql table to another Mysql table by using a link that the script can generate by itself? If so, how would I go about doing this? Thanks,

yes. you need some way to id the email addy then use sql to copy the value

Is the email something already available? Either from a previously filled out form element or by storing some user info in a session...

Then its simply a matter of passing the appropriate values via the link to the script.
