hi! previously i've managed to get the windows-php-apache-mysql working. but somehow or rather, i cant get the P in LAMP working?! but, i'm still really new to linux. currently, i'm using redhat Linux 8.0.
first, my apache 2.044 and mysql servers are installed already. i installed everything directly from the redhat CDs. i follwed the instructions in the install file for installing the dynamic modules.
funny stuff start appearing during the configuration of the apxs part. my apache version is 2.0 but there's only apxs there. so i went ahead and configured the apxs file. no errors but Linux reminded me tat i shud be using apxs2 at the end.
then its the "make" command.
when i execute the make command, it gave me
[FONT=courier new]make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop[/FONT]
same msg for make install
anybody got a clue to how it works?? 😕 😕
