Ok, this is a bit of a stab in the dark here. The Union at my university has just decided (against all the webteams protests) to go with a company called OnCampusUK.

I just wondered if anyone here has had any dealing with this company before.

Or, if your union uses it what do you think?

As I say, this is a real stab in the dark, so I won't be surprised if no one answers this.

I really couldn't tell to much what they do, but if its anything like Zwire run...Run man and fast!

What is Zwire:
The quick of it is Zwire was a company that pretty much made a template website that was driven for newspapers. You signed on for like a 2 contract. Only about 10 grand a year. Only thing was when it came down to it. Nothing, I mean almost nothing could be altered or changed. A new skin as they called it, just so your site wouldn't look Identical to everyone elses out there using there system was like 5 grand! Yeah, needless to say when I joinned this company they had it, it sucked, we quit them, and I reprogrammed the site to meet everything they wanted.

Unfortunately, a motion has already been passed through the Union council (the governing body of the union) to go with oncampusuk, but I'm trying to find a way of overturning the motion by finding someone who has had really bad experiences with them.

The main thing that annoys me about this, is that if we go with it, we are tied in for 3 years. :mad:
