Hi,
I have a problem. My webhosts do not have mcrypt on any of their servers and I'm having problems finding any UK based webhosts whose servers can handle the mcrypt function. This means that I am currently unable to do any two way encryption with PHP in the way that I would like to.

I'm sure I read a recent post from you where you declared that you could create your own two way encryption script that works in a similar way to mcrypt.

If this is the case then I'd like to talk to you about it. If I've got my wires crossed and you never said that at all then sorry for the mix up.

If you have the OpenSSL functions available you could use those; I also recall a post where someone gives an implementation of arcfour - but I've never used it, let alone compared it with RC4.

Hmm. I forget where I got this. Maybe from a pointer on this site. The header has the guy's info. Dunno if it'll help. For the CLI.
