I am trying to include a header file and a footer file in a parent directory that the whole page will use, and some others too.. and im having trouble getting it to work.
I ran phpinfo and include_path has no value. This is not my site, im working on it for someone and i cant change php ini. Anyways...
if i do this
include ("header.inc");
it says "unable to access header.inc in /wwwuser/www/test/index.php3 line 2" I guess its looking for it in the same folder... ok...
if i do this
include ("$DOCUMENT_ROOT/header.inc");
it says "unable to access /wwwuser/www/wwwuser/www/test/index.php3"
It puts the doc root path on there twice on there
How can i include these files? oh yeah... this isnt working either..
include "http://www.annoyingsite.com/inc/header.inc";
