Hello,
I have done and tried everything in my power thus far to enable Remote Control of my users sessions. Unfortunately I have failed and I do not know why. I've read the help files up and down and still have problems.
Currently I am running Windows Server 2003 Evaluation copy (evaluation shouldn't limit me to Remote Control other users, if anyone knows that this will not work since i'm using an evaluation please let me know and point me to documentation that states this) ... I'm running Terminal Services Version 5.00 Build # : 2195
I have set Group Policy to enable Admin with Full Access to allow remote control without my user's approval. Meaning, I should be able to remote control the user session without needing the user's permission. I have also set up in Terminal Services Configuration to allow Remote Control, I've also allowed Remote Control through the user preferences.
The user is connecting locally through Terminal Services and is using Windows Server 2003, so there shouldn't be a compatibility problem.
If anyone can tell me WHY I am unable to use the Remote Control option when right clicking on the user that is active through Terminal Services Manager, I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks a lot!
