E-mail this page to...

Hey all,

A newbie here. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to create a script that allows people to e-mail a link to an article or page. The kind you see at most news sites that says "E-mail this article to a friend" and when you click it, you can enter the person's e-mail address and send the previous page to that person.

If not PHP, how else?

If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated!

Quite often, you send only the link to the article, not the article itself.

You can use PHP's mail function to send emails ... there are lot ot utilities/snippets that will organise this for you, but sending HTML email has a lot of gotcha's to consider.
