When I use a link from my page to an other site, somehow, I have no referel. At least they are not able to detect where the link is comming from.

either the person going there went STRAIGHT to your site, or the browser didnt send a referer - unfortunately referers seem to be a very unreliable variable, since they can be influenced by the person who accesses your site.
