radio buttons in Php

I have a form with a radio button option in it which gives the option of clicking "yes" or "no" to a question.

This is tied to a form which is sent via email, however even if you select yes or no to the option in the radio button the resultant email answer to the question is "radiobutton" How do I get it to display the correct answer..ie yes or no...

The code relevent I think is....

//$purchase = $_POST['radiobutton'];

1. Are both radio buttons name/id radiobutton?

2. To get yes/no in the corresponding tags put value='yes' or value='no'

Thanks for your help it was an error in the HTML file generated by Dreamweaver that was causing the problem......I changed the value to yes and no in that file and it now seems to work..thanks again!
