[Resolved] The same preg_match_all not working on all servers

Hi!

The preg_match_all: |<a href=(.*)<\/a><br>|U

is working perfectly on Windows XP - PHP 4.1.1. I get the links I need.

The same does not work on Linux Mandrake - PHP 4.3.3. I get a blank result; although /<TITLE>(.*)<\/TITLE>/s works fine.

The phpinfo() function tells me for the Linux server:

PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions) Support enabled

PCRE Library Version 4.3 21-May-2003

Which could be the problem ???

4.1.1 is quite an old version i recommend updating to 4.3x.

Not sure on why its not working i do not believe there were any changes in the PCRE Libriaries.

As I posted in my original message, I have no problems on 4.1.1. The problem is on 4.3.3

The attached file contains the HTML with the links I need to grab.
What I need are the link's texts in spanish.

I tried another combination:
|<a href=\"..\/medex\/V2(.*)<\/a><br>|

this also works perfectly on my XP server and on Sam Fullman test script too (
http://www.samuelfullman.com/team/php/tools/regular_expression_tester_p2.php ) but not on my Linux server with PHP 4.3.3

Please I would need some help!.
