reading mail from own mail server

hi there people and guru's i would like to ask for help about this

i am planning to do something like email program and maybe someone could help me with my problem.

i want to do like this read the email from the mailserver on the same server running linux and apache with sendmail.

how can u read all the users email and post it into the database?

pls help and thank you in advance

use the [man]imap[/man] functions - dont be fooled by the name, these handle pop3 and nntp too
