Is not a number isNaN()

How do you determine is something is not a number?

Like if someone puts in test the application will fail because it is not an integer. But it they put in zero with the intval function then i cant test for it because when there is text it returns zero.

I hope you got some ideas??

is_numeric() function finds if something is numeric so just doe !is_numerisc()
