Hi All,

How can I get rid of the PHPSESSID from the URL string when my site loads for the FIRST TIME.

Once I click on the any of the links, the PHPSESSID is no longer appened to any of my links on my nav structure. (I believe because fo the --trans-sid compilation.

My problem is that on the very FIRST load of the site, all my links on the main page have ?PHPSESSID=asdfsadfa appended. I believe this causes problems for search engine spiders crawling my site.

I tried the examples off the www.php.net site http://us4.php.net/function.session-start

I only assumption why it would force the SID would be something to do with your browser and cookies. Or some kind of cookies setting somewhere along the way.

Sorry its just a guess wish I knew for sure.
