PHP create image

I dont know if this is possible with PHP, but is it possible to create an image, and if so, what extensions? (png, gif, jpg, etc). Also, how do you do it. Like do you have to define each pixel, etc. Sorry if it seems like a dumb question, but I'm very confused 😕

If PHP has been compiled with support for the GD library, you can use the image functions to create images dynamically.
