I'm looking for a good way to pass variables between pages without having to put a ton of hidden fields on every page.
Basically I've got one page with a bunch of form fields. On there are links/buttons to another form page that pulls coordinates off an image and sends them back to page #1. My problem is when it goes back to page #1 all the editing I did before is gone. The only way I know how to fix this is to pass EVERY field from page #1 to page #2, then pass them all back to page #1. There has to be a better way. Sessions? Cookies? Javascript? I know you can probably do a number of ways but I'm looking for the 'preferred' way to go.
