I've downloaded and installed the phpdev423.exe package, which contains Apache 1.3.27, PHP4.2.3 and MySQL 4.0, on a Win 98SE machine. The install went smoothly and everything seems to work well, except for one thing- forms don't work.
This is an automotive parts website where the pages are created dymically and that part works fine. However, when I enter information into the order form and hit submit, the HTML part of the returned page is rendered and that's it. I'm using the 'post' method- using 'get' gave the same result. All website pages and the db are on the local machine and I am definitely accessing the local db.
The same pages, including all forms and pages that are returned, work just fine on the remote server, leading me to believe that something isn't configured correctly. If anyone has any pearls of wisdom I'd certainly appreciate hearing them. If more info is needed just let me know. Thanks!
