getting the users screen resolution using php

I know we can get the users screen resolution with javascript; but how do i get it with php?

i get the feeling from some of the posts i see here that some people dont quite get the diff between client-side and server-side code

is this sort of thing covered in the faq?

I think the real question is "Does it matter if it's covered"? I still see more questions based on register_globals troubles than this sorta thing, and I'm fairly sure register_globals is covered in all the FAQ's

Uhhh, what if you used PHP to echo out the form? 😕 :p
