[Resolved] Make news from a DB appear desc. by date

Hi. In the newbies forum, I posted on how to make a news script, I have that fixed, but now I want it to 1. When you post news, make it automatically detect the date, store that in a date column in MySQL, and then make it appear in order descending, starting from the most recent (duh).

If you need the code, I will post. Thanks a lot, pls help.

when you put the entry for the news in the db you need to stick the date in at that time.

insert into tablename (date, news) values (Now(), '$yourvariablename')

when you select you need to add at the end "order by date desc"

that should do it for you
