hmm, ive been trying to find a way to store passwords and usernames ina flatfiles and i think i found a way. i store my passwords in a .php file and at the top have the die command, is this completely secure???

but it is the best way to store passwords in a flatfile, right, well with php or txt
What about htaccess?
Is the file outside of the web root?
the file is in a different folder, htaccess is flatfile?
