Unsetting $PHP_AUTH_USER and $PHP_AUTH_PW

Is there any way of unsetting the $PHP_AUTH_USER and $PHP_AUTH_PW variables once they have been set?

i have searched the net and looked for an answer but haven't been able to find one yet. Please make sure if you reply that you have tested it before yourself or if you know that is not possible to do this please let me know.

What I mean is I have seen a lot of answers to this question on forums and none of them have worked yet. They all say "this should work" without knowing if it does or not.

I was only saying that in case someone knew a definite answer. I don't expect you to do the work for me, but maybe someone has had the same problem before and found the answer. Sorry if you were offended Lord.

No offense taken. You may want to watch how you word it though. A better approach to this would be to list things that you've tried, and be open to new, possibly untested suggestions

agreed, just to add my 2 cents were not here to make sure the code works were just here to help you develope by using suggestions in the form as code snippets! hehe 😛

unset($PHP_AUTH_PW);

unset($_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER']) under globals.
