I am doing a research on a project of "small to middle size licensed music, member only, download web site."

I am familiar with the platform of php/Interbase or MySQL.

I am sure someone in this forum have done same kind researches before.

Could anyone share any information you think could help me in this project?

Such as which music library module is good from the hotscripts.com's php music library list?

Any information, techical, business, law etc., for this idea or against this idea, please share all these information with me.

Or if you can direct me to a right place to get this kind information, that will be helpful too.

Plus, I already went over the music libraries list in the hotscripts. And I have checked out the current major download sites too.

But I want to listen to the php programmers' real life experience.

Plus, I am also looking for some angles (if there are any) that how small and middle size licensed music download sites can offer to compete with the already existing major music download sites.

Specially, for these who already did the researches by themselves. Even some researches that lead to the results that "this idea is not going to work". I need that too.
