Im just wondering whether it is possible to have a variable in the URL without any question marks or equal signs?
e.g:
I have a variable $foo. I could tell the index page using something like this:
www.server.com/index.php?foo=barr
or
www.server.com/?foo=barr
BUT would it be possible for index.php to assume that this would work?
www.server.com/barr
I know that normally that would look for a directory but can PHP over ride this and assume that the value after the '/' is the value of variable foo? Unless of course the directory of that value exists (e.g www.server.com/images)
Understabd? I know tis a little wierd....
