PHP - Images and Flash

Hi all, I just wondered, if PHP could, somehow, know the size of a Image (jpg, or gif) or of a Flash Moview (swf). This like to set automatically the width and height values of both elements.

[I want to use it in, like a, photoalbum, which uses the same page to display images of different sizes, that way the width and height of each image, would be set by php]

like, how about, somehow, like, searching the php manual? it's at http://www.php.net/manual and would have, like, told you;

The [man]getimagesize/man function will determine the size of any GIF, JPG, PNG, SWF, SWC, PSD, TIFF, BMP or IFF image file and return the dimensions along with the file type and a height/width text string to be used inside a normal HTML IMG tag.
