Notice the white space

When i call for this from the db the whitespace is not included in the output so i have:

bolditalicunderlineand so on

How can i include the spaces.

Hi,

I assume you have 1 space between each item? That is standard HTML interpretation. Ay double space is displayed as one space the most.

You could place   in your HTML.

Or you can have a look at CSS coding for margins / spacing.

You could also use str_replace to replace the whitespaces with the HTML entity & nbsp;

This board will convert it, but the entity is & nbsp; without the space between & and nbsp;. So assume whatever you want to convert is in the variable $text

$text = str_replace(" ", "& nbsp;", $text);

I figure I toss this in just as a heads up - the &nbsp; without any spaces or dashes will tell the browser to keep going horizontally across (possibly causing a horizontal scroll bar to appear). I think a quick fix would be to add 1 space with the nonbreaking space and that would allow the browser to choose where the line break should occur:

$text = str_replace(" ", " &amp;nbsp;", $text);

It would seem that flash does not like "& n b s p" in it's dynamic text field so nothing after the bold tag

Anyone know why this might be.
