how to add "file info" to images?

hey ho...

i just wondered if anybody out there is aware of a class or knows of any functions, that allow me to insert the "File Info" into image files (specifically jpg).

By file info i mean things like copyright,... that can be edited in PS for example when you go to File > File Info. I suppose its kinda like a watermark.

any ideas and suggestions how to accomplish something like this in php are appreciated. rock on.

Talking about watermark you can do it with Gd Lib.

you have to make 2 images one is your orginal and the other one is the watermark image and u have to overlap both the images. The watermark obvisouly will be tranparent.

okay yep thanks ok - watermark wasnt the right term. i just wondered if theres a way to change the file info w/o having to parse the header and finding out what is where located exactly by hand.

Well all i grab from the reply is that u want to change the info of file if it is jpg u send the headers with some thing else. :S

A bit confusing.

if you have photoshop, just open a jpg, go to File > File Info and fill in a few of the fields there => save the file. then open it in a text editor and you will see what i mean - that is the data i would like to extract
