[Resolved] upload/viewing of images

I would like to upload pictures to my webserver and view them depending on the query executed...

If the file is called picture1.jpg and I setup an upload feature... the picture is copied to a certain directory. Should I then create a column in my MYSQL dB to store the link/name of that file so that I can view it through my query? Would I go with a varchar(20) column type?

You could do that. Though, I think I'd make the column bigger than 20 to leave room or longer filenames

Nothing really. BLOB is usually used for storing binary data.
