Authorization Required for Copy

If i want to use copy to copy a file from a passworded website, how do I get around this error?

Warning: copy(http://site.com/files/file.zip): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required in c:\dn\test.php on line 3
