help no image output (GD)

I have GD installed v2.0.17 with 4.3.4 and seems to be loaded seen below

GD Support  enabled  

GD Version  bundled (2.0.17 compatible)  

FreeType Support  enabled  

FreeType Linkage  with freetype  

GIF Read Support  enabled  

JPG Support  enabled  

PNG Support  enabled  

WBMP Support  enabled  

XBM Support  enabled  

its using php_gd2.dll but it seems whenever i display a picture using

ImagePng ($img_handle) or ImageJPEG it just outputs part of the JPEG. It does not output a real image>?

anyone have anything that might move me into the right direction thanks
