IMHO I think the tutorials on the websites are not in depth enough to teach beginners/newbies about OOP, I would look in manuel first to get an idea of it or read a simple tutorial like one on over 20,000 sites from google, and then pick up a book on Advanced PHP and then if you really wanted to learn it, read all about it and youll get the real stuff
