Include Variable Answered in the URL

How can i have a URL such as http://www.mydomain.com/file.php?p=xyz

and have an include=("xyz.htm-or-inc") where it automatically goes to xyz because it said "?p=xyz" in the URL. So if it said ?p=test it would show include=("test.htm-inc"). I will probably use inc but i haven't decided yet.

You see, this way i can have one template and the included pages as the content. I didn't want to use frames or iframes becuase i do not like them for this type of page

I figured it out. Just do include("$p.inc")

note that your code works only if register_globals is on..

proper coding for easy transfer to different machines should be
$p = $_GET['p'] . ".inc;
include("$p");

or
include($_GET['p'] . ".inc");

Could you explain that to me? I do not get it
