Is the Session ID a good way to track a visitor to your site when your using a database?
In other words, if i save information relating to a visitor in the database (note: nothing saved would be anything personal to that person - just that visit), do i need to worry about another visitor getting the same Session ID?
I'm not sure if a session ID being duplicated by 2 visitors is something I should be worrying about..
ps: I have heard about hijacking a session, and i'm not worried about it for this because someone doing that would at the most end up with the same site settings, nothing sensitive is passed =)
