I mainly program in Perl and its alive and well as ever. The only thing is that PHP seems to be easier to program and set up. So naturaly PHP would get ahead due to the ease of use. Over the years more functionality will be added. More libraries will come out to support some of the things that perl already supports.
dont worry Perl is a great language and it wont die.
I personaly love to program in perl but dont know how to 🙁

I'm not a real big PERL fan. I used to be, but I find PHP quicker and easer to program in. I also like PHP's OO support better then PERL's. The one place where PERL has PHP, IMHO, is using multiple databases in a single script.

Jumping on a member for an innocent mistake isn't going to solve the problem. You need to check your temper at the door instead of going off on someone. I'm not interested if you had a bad day or just have a chip on your shoulder 24 hours a day. I didn't realize I created a new post I thought I replied to it. Other than that I don't think I need to explain myself to you. Next time suggest to have the topic moved to be included in a thread.
