it dosent work.

if its easer is there a way to say if the typer contains the work Rental then do the rest.

    echo ' style="display:none" ';
}

that's all you need, no need for an else cuz u dont care about any other situations.

ok this is what i have done.

<td align="left" valign="top" id="main_table" <? if (!stristr($line['type'], 'Rental')){ ?> style="display:none" <? }else{ ?>style="display:"<? } ?>>

ok so the above says that if the $line['type'] contains the word Rental then style="display:none" else style="display:" is this correct.

because in my database i can have to values with the work Rental in it.

Rental House
Rental Unit

the rest are like
House
Apartment
Villa
Business
etc..
