strtotime

Anyone know how to convert 1073826519 so that it only shows the year and month.
That gets inserted into the db using this :
strtotime(date("d M Y H:i:s"));

I am having problems trying to get a date that is readable. Not sure how to query it at all. Please help if you can.

Thank you, I guess i should have made more sence, I meant i need to know the query to retrieve it from the database. I only want the year and month. I need to know the query so that i can go from there.
