display_errors ?

Hi, I am doing some freelance work for a client, and I noticed that my includes seem to be not showing up.

Then I looked inside of the PHP info (which proves PHP is enabled from the host) and I noticed the display_errors directive was set to Off.

Does this mean that PHP won't display any error messages at all? Because I need to figure out why my includes (none of them) are working.

Hmm, it seems I had to put the full server path. But if display_errors was on, I'm sure I would have discovered that much earlier. :o

Does anyone know how I can tell all of my scripts to display errors regardless if the display_errors directive is off?

you should be able to override it with [man]ini_set[/man]

put this in your code:

error_reporting(E_ALL);

I used this and it worked just fine. Is there any differenece between this way of doing it and your method?
