I was just browsing through the front page of PHPBuilder when I saw a Microsoft ad that said that Linux was 11 to 12% more expensive in 4 out of 5 workload situations (liars!). The ad then rotated to an Linux advocacy ad, sponsored by IBM...strange, dont you think?
I saw that same ms ad. What they don't tell you is that the statistics have a +/- 50% error margin. 😉
now i'm gettin 3 linux ads/page.... consistantly. this is freaky.

I don't turn on the ad blocking feature of my firewall because it messes up the layout of the page.
Currently blocking ads by originating server....
i got a popup today for the first time in awhile...of course, i was using IE 5.2.3 for the mac...i was shocked at first...
it's nice that both Safari and Firebird have built in mechanisms for blocking that stuff...v
