Do a php include using ONE template!???!? PLEASE HELP lol

Hey, i really need to do this-but i am lead to dead ends. Lemme try my best to describe it in FULL detail:

I have a website with over 100 pages + content. But every time I need to change something-I would have to edit EVERY single page. I learned that you could do an include, to where you would only have one index file (the theme/template) and then use includes that would only show a certain content page inside the layout. Like: URL/index.php?mod=news | And it would then show the news file that was 'news.php' inside the template *(index.php).

This script assummes that index.php?mod=news is in the same folder as the news.php file. Adjust to your needs.

The above script will definitely do the job, but it will also allow your web users/viewers to run ANY PHP script on your web server (including the nasty ones).

For something like that, its recommend you setup an array that you check against to make sure the user is only asking for a file you have verified is valid.
