A special kind of query?

I've got a mysql question.....I have a table with loads of image files in it with the place they were taken, example:

wcanada/image1
wcanada/image2
cali/image1
cali/image2

I want to print out all the wcanada pictures in one group and cali in another. I don't want to use the "like" operator though, because I don't want to have to go in and add each name of the folder into the "like" operator. Does anyone know if there's a command that will check the folder name and group it with any other images that have the same folder name?

You could try using GROUP BY, probably you're best bet would be to add another field into your table, INT indicating the group the pictures are in, and then so SELECT * WHERE group = 1...
