I want to create a coupon system that allow users to print one coupon per user. Does anyone have any ideas, thought, comments...on this subject. What do I need to keep in mind from a databasing perspective? Any help would be wonderful.

My suggestion is to create a coupon table
userid | coupondate
and add a record when user prints coupon.
Check table first for userid before allowing a print
