I am running a webserver, with PHP, and mySQL, on my computer so I can develop websites offline.
What I'm wondering is if there is a way that I could query the site to list and link each of the folders in the main directory. Since this computer is mainly off line security isn't really an issue, if that matters.

Why not just set up directory indexing on the web server?

Either that or practise with the filesystem commands in PHP and make a basic file browser that allows access into each of the directories listing them and providing a link to each...
