Limit on rows

Hey, I have a MySQL database which has data added when a user visits a page via PHP. However, after a certain number of entries no more are logged. I have noticed two tables which stop at row 255 and another at 127.

Any idea?

Sounds like you're using the wrong column types. For instance, smallint types only go to 127.

yeah, fields are where columns and rows intersect.

the guess here is that your index is of SMALLINT or TINYINT where it should be INT

the "id" field is TINYINT(4), but i thought that limited the characters of the field?

Yes, it does.
However, that means you have a limited number of ids, and your id is the primary key, of AUTO_INCREMENT?

In that case, once the max is reached, it cannot increment further, hence you've reached a maximum number of rows in order to id to be unique.
