sadly, none that I know of...start by making a guestbook...that should give you the general idea of the structure of something like this...then expand...turn it into a mini-forum, and finally a full-fledged forum....PHP is not a good language for chats....have a look at Java. (possibly JavaScript, but I doubt it).
