adding enter from textarea

hello there maybe someone here know how to add an enter from your text area

sample

$content = 'blah blah blah'; 
$content2 = 'blah blah blah';

<textarea cols="43" rows="10" name="content"><? print $content.$content2; ?></textarea>

so if you going to browse that it will give the value of content fromt he textarea but i want to put like atleast 2 enters between content and content2.
