GD for Windows

Hi All,
I'm running php 4.3.4 for Windows and I can't get imagecreate to work (function not defined error).

From the php help files I see that I need to install GD dll. Can anyone tell me where I can find information on installing this library?

enable GD in your PHP.ini by uncommenting

extension=php_gd2.dll
or
extension=php_gd.dll

Also make sure that your extension direcotry is set correctly.

The php_gd2.dll line is uncommented and the extension_dir is pointing to the directory where the extension are located.

However, imagecreate still creates an error.

I assume that I set the extensions directory correctly:

extension_dir = "c:\HTTPd\php\extensions\"

[nihilis]

./[dir where your extensions are]
i.e.:
extension_dir = "./extensions"
and for me this dir is: C:\PHP\extensions
