Well, we've been hit here. I'm torn about this one. I hate how it slows down our internet email, but the purpose of attacking SCO kinda gives me a warm, tingling feeling 🙂
ah yes. attacking SCO... makes you feel all warm inside doesnt it?
but i don't really run much email (hotmail - so shoot me. it's got a really nice interface for ripping off tho 😉) so it doesnt matter to me. 😃
Well, I'm talking at work. 10,000+ people, most running Windows with Outlook. Someone's bound to open the attachment. So we're scanning all inbound internet email now.
Nah, I was lucky. Only one colleague was stupid enough to open an attachment
Our AV gateway got the rest 😃
...and here I was thinking that was a new version of Doom from the folks at MySQL AB. Dangit, maybe I shouldn't have opened that attachment. 🆒
This is the kind of Doom I like! 😃
We were lucky, our antivirus software updated it's dats in time to protect us against the myDoom virus. Good thing because the software has picked up almost 200 inbound infected attachments with the mydoom virus just today! Luckly we have not detected it inside our LAN at this time**.
**Hopefuly to continue.
