Does anyone else dread Valentine's Day?

Not long to go and I alway have huge problems thinking up something to get my g/f. Last night she told me that she wants me to be really romantic and for this to be the best valentine's day ever!

Thats all very well, but she is currently working near Hamburg and I am in the UK so theres only so much that I can take over.

Anyone else dread this day as much as I do?

The "not having someone to share it with" makes it a day I don't dread. Everytime there's been someone, I had to actually put thought into it. This time, it's just another day. So no, I don't dread it

Aw, you guys are no fun! Valentine's Day rocks - especially if you're female, ha ha. You usually get to eat lots of chocolate and hear some mushy words from your SO - something we don't usually get to do on a daily basis. So Piers, suck it up- it's only for one day, I think you can handle that! 😃

I usually don't like V-Day, but this V-Day, I told the old lady to go buy whatever she wants and I'll pay for it...

Not romantic, but it keeps me from being in hot water when I forget to get something.

Doesn't cost much but the romance points will get the job done, though it will not work two years in a row.
