[Resolved] Get Image Information from Image-Link

Hi all !

I will try to make this short :
Is it possible to determine width and size of an image given by a link to it ?
So if i got the following "Text " :

im a text with an http://www.image.com/hugeImage.gif in it.

So if i rip out the image Link (that isn't the problem) - can i use this link to get the size of the image ?

If you have PHP 5 you could use filesize()

hmmm, i haven't php 5, and i guess most of the isp haven't it also :-/
