What amuses me is someone asking in a public forum for the source. I got as far as writing one of these once; it worked (I forget how large it was), but there was no point in "releasing" it. One difference is that it inlined itself rather than using an inclusion.

I think it could be improved. For example, in big web apps, you might want this:

include "$_SERVER['DOC_ROOT']/$virus_dir/$virusfile";

It would be interesting if the person had made a worm in php but that is something anyone could do, what with the ftp, file system and string processing functions of php it would take what maybe a couple hours to pull it off. Heck I have something similar on my site that I use for updating the live site from the test area when I complete something.

Maybe one of those "traps for the clueless" so they don't get too much detailed how-to for writing their own? I'm waiting for someone to post a question about why their script won't work when it says "/php>"....
