Apache does not work with Norton Internet Security

Hi,

I tried to installed Apache together with Norton Internet Security but both does not work together. After removing Norton, I managed to install and it works.

Anybody has similiar experience or there is some installation that I miss out.

Any comment on this ?

I'm using NIS 2003, and running Apache, and it seems ok.

How do they not seem to work together.

Hi,

I frest installed WinXPPro, Apahce and PHP all working but after installation NIS2003 and did live update, it did not work anymore.

Is there any patch or sequence that I need to perform ? I am trying to get it work on my IBM notebook.

well if NIS includes a firewall then you'll probably need to open port 80 before you install.... well you shouldnt have to but its probably what will end up working...
